EL BLOC D'ANGLÈS DE L'ESCOLA ARDENYA

During this first term, We have worked on the picture “El parasol” de Maria Girona (exhibited in the Thyssen Museum). From it, first grade students had to imagine and draw how it continued in space.

We had a great time.

Sixth graders: We’ve been working with clay and We had fun doing different kind of shapes and figures. We loved it!!!

The teachers follow the orders of the king carnestoltes.

Fourth graders studied the parts of the body by drawing it and label. So they acquire the vocabulary in a useful way.

From the theory of colors we worked how to combine cold and hot structures.

The sixth grade students compared the skull of a buffalo (American Indians period at Thyssen’s museum) with Miró’s sculptures. After they brought recycled materials and they created and painted their own. They had lot of fun!!!

P-3, P-4 and P-5 students have started the course with a great willingness to have fun and learn new things!!!

During September they have acquired and revised lots of vocabulary through games, songs and stories.

We worked with “The very hungry caterpillar” story; students loved it and with this tale they have revised and learned many food names and the days of the week in English.

This October we are also very happy because Halloween is coming soon, for this reason we are working with a very funny song that is called: “Who took the candy?”

Els alumnes de P-3, P-4 i P-5 han començat el curs amb moltes ganes de divertir-se i d’aprendre coses noves.

Al llarg del mes de setembre han adquirit i repassat molt de vocabulari a través de jocs, cançons i contes.

A classe es va treballar el conte: “A very hungry Caterpillar”, als alumnes els va agradar molt, amb aquesta història varem repassar i aprendre els noms d’aliments com també els dies de la setmana en anglès.
