HEM VISITAT EL JARDÍ BOTÀNIC DE BARCELONA!!

Hello families!                                                                                                                        Today we visited the Botanical Garden of Barcelona. We have learned about the strategies that Mediterranean plants have to adapt to our dry and hot climate.                                                                                                                                          We also visited an exhibition on bees and their pollinating function, which is so important for the planet and at the same time in such endangered.      It has been a perfect way to conclude the topic about the plants that we have been working during this course!

Avui hem visitat el Jardí Botànic de Barcelona. Hem conegut quines són les estratègies que tenen les plantes del Mediterrani per a adaptar-se al nostre clima més aviat sec i calorós. 
Així mateix, hem visitat una exposició sobre les abelles i la seva funció pol·linitzadora, tan important per al planeta i alhora en un perill tan greu.
En general, ha sigut una sortida perfecta per a concloure el tema que hem estat treballant a Science durant aquest curs!

SCIENCE: Digitalitzem l’hort de l’escola

Hello! Com ja sabeu aquest trimestre hem estat treballant el projecte de les plantes. Hem après moltíssimes coses, hem fet experiments i fins i tot hem fet una petita representació per aprendre que és la pol·linització. Finalment hem pogut iniciar la digitalització de l’hort de l’escola!
Hem creat fitxes informatives d’algunes de les plantes i arbres que tenim a l’hort i hem creat uns codis QR que us duran a aquestes fitxes. Tothom que vulgui veure quines són les plantes que tenim podeu escanejar els codis QR que trobareu a l’hort i tenir informació detallada de cada planta.

Hello! As you know this quarter we have been working on the plant project. We’ve learned a lot of things, we’ve done experiments and we’ve even done a little representation to learn what pollination is. We were finally able to start digitizing the school garden!

We have created information sheets for some of the plants and trees we have in the garden and we have created some QR codes that will take you to these cards. Anyone who wants to see which plants we have can scan the QR codes you will find in the garden and have detailed information on each plant.
