A letter to me

Imagine yourself at the beginning of your career. Write a letter to yourself which you will read in 30 years’ time. Say what you are doing now and what you hope to do in the future.

    Dear me,
    When I read this letter again in 30 year’s time, I will be 47 years old. That’s difficult to imagine at the moment. Right now I’m in my first year at university. I’m study primary education. I hope to graduate with an excellent degree, because I love this. At the moment I’m a teacher of activities before the school, I love this job!
    I think that I will be a great teacher, I love children, and this job is perfect for me.

    Dear me,
    When i read this letter again in 30 years time, i’ll be 47 years old. That’s complicated to imagine at the moment. Right now i’m in my second year of “Batxillerat”, i do a lot of sport, hadball, dance, running, padel, tennis, and i have a dog. In the future i hope to live in a flat for studying at the univercity, psychology, and i’ll playing handball there. I’d like to be working in my house like ‘Judit Becker’ with my pacients and solve his problems. I’ll have five dogs, one monkey and a beautiful boy.

    Dear Me,
    When I read this letter again 30 years time, I’ll be 51 years old. That’s hard to imagine at the moment. Right now I’m in my fourth year at university. I’m studying Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering. I hope to graduate with a good degree, but I know that learn English and German, and get any practical experience will be more important that my qualification.
    So now, I’m studding English because I’m due to do an Erasmus the next course.
    I’m aiming to join in an important electronics company when I’ll finish the studies and I expect that I’ll can do my own projects.
    I hope that I’ll earn a lot of money in a few years.

    When I read this letter again in 30 years time, I’ll bee 51 years old. At the moment I’ve just finished university, I studied teaching. I had practices in Cervera.
    In the summer I’m sending curriculums vitae to differents schools near where I live.
    I intend to be included at the public lists for teaching.
    After I hope to pass the public examinations.
    Afterwards I’m aiming to work in a quiet town.

    When I read this letter again in 30 year time. I’ll be 51 years old. At the moment I have studied History and Psychology. Right now I’m in my third year at university.
    My future is still uncertain, although very well what I want. I want a life of action where every day is different, such as some sort of agent secret service.

    So now, I’m studding English because is important for my plants. For me the money isn’t the goal, or fame, or success, only it is important have a life my way.

    Dear Me,

    If you are reading this letter, it is a good signal because you are 49 years old. It’s very hard for me to imagine that moment. Nowadays, I’m in my second year of university. I’m studying international business while I’m also working as a waiter. I hope to graduate with good marks and to have success in the life. I expect to work in many different foreign countries, in order to make new contacts which could be useful for my job.

    To sum up, I would like to have formed a family and just be happy with my style of life.

    Now I’m a student and I’m doing a career. I will read this letter in 30 years, and I’ll have 45. Probably I will think that life was easier when I was studying, but at the moment I think that It’s boring, tired and horrible.
    Now a days I’m very stressed with the final exams, and very impatient to finish the course and get a well paid job.
    This is my final course of medicine. I hope to graduate with a good mark, and then go to Germany or Great Britan to work and improve my english.
    Then, I would like to go to South Africa and be a doctor there to help people who hasn’t have money to pay medicines

    Dear me, when I read this letter again in 30 years time, I’ll be 45 years old. It’s really hard to imagine, so I don’t know how I’ll be. I expect I’ll get a hard degree, even I hope I’ll get good marks. However, it will be hard.
    Although I don’t know what I’ll study, I’ve got a little idea of what I would like to be. I really like techonology and maths, so I can study engineering.
    I can see me and my wife in my swimming pool of a big mansion, and my 2 sons learning to swim with a private coach. But this is just a dream. However, some dreams become true!

    Dear me,

    When I read this letter, 30 years later, i’ll be 48. I hope to achieve my wishes that I have at the moment.
    First of all, it’s to finish my career. Beforehand I would like to go abroad (New York if it’s possible) for one year as an AuPair to learn more english to get the First Certificate, and of course, to look after little guys. After that, I hope to be working as a Kinder Garden teacher because is the job that I’ve been wishing all my life.

    But for the moment, my plan is enjoy my youth because nobody knows what’s gonna happen in a future, and if we’ll be alive, so we should be happy while we can.
