MARTISOR

Martisor is an old Romanian celebration at the beginning of Spring, on 1st March.

The name Martisor means “little March”.

Martisor is a name for the red and white string with a small decoration. People offer it as a present on the 1st day of March.

See the Martisor we made in our Primary 4 classrooms.
