We used cloud dough to simulate moon surface and 4th graders acted like astronauts landing on the moon! And, like Neil Armstrong did, they left their own fooprints and flags!!

OUR GALAXY, THE MILKY WAY
The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy, and our Solar System (the Sun and its eight planets) is located in the outer reaches of the Orion arm.
Yep, this week we’ve been talking about the Milky Way galaxy, OUR galaxy, in Science class… and it’s been really fascinating!!
Besides, 4th graders made some beautiful pictures of the Milky Way. The stars in our galaxy are represented by the glitter.
If you still have any doubt you can watch this video, It helps you to understand better our special galaxy.

Hi!
Learning the constellations is a very important part of a succesful star gazing, so we’re very excited about learning them in Science class!
Last day 4th graders made a craft to learn the zodiacal constellations.
Now this game will help you to become familiar with all the major constellations.
Find the constellations and enjoy!!
Solar Eclipse 2015
Today we will experience a total solar eclipse. You must never view the Sun directly with the naked eye! Learn more about this phenomenon with this video:
Watch it live online through Slooh:
