The other day 2nd graders planned an expedition and gathered some necessary tools: shovels, piucks, brushes, magnifiers, pencils and notebooks. Pupils put into practice the excavation of a dummy site (a big box full of sand). They found some archaeological remains: coins, ceramic remains, bones and glass.

Imagine how hard it is to reconstruct animals from fossil bones where many of the pieces are broken up or lost. Try your luck with the jigsaws!
