OUR GALAXY, THE MILKY WAY

The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy, and our Solar System   (the Sun and its eight planets) is located in the outer reaches of the Orion arm.

Yep, this week we’ve been talking about the Milky Way galaxy, OUR galaxy, in Science class… and it’s been really fascinating!!

Besides, 4th graders made some beautiful pictures of the Milky Way. The stars in our galaxy are represented by the glitter.

Adventure Time: ‘Food Chain’

In this Adventure Time episode you can watch how on a field trip to the Candy Kingdom Museum of Natural History, Finn and Jake learn about the food chain by becoming the food chain! It’s hilarious!
