Building a food pyramid (1st grade)
Carrot sticks or potato chips? Milk or fizzy drink? An apple or a chocolate bar?
😮 A food pyramid is a good way to represent which foods you should be eating the most. 😮
HANGMAN
Dear pupils,
We started our English lessons with this funny activity.
Instructions: Played as in the word version, but a mathematical equation is used instead. A pupil draws one dash for every digit and symbol in the equation. Players then take turns to say a digit or a symbol while the first pupil places any correct answers in the equation.
BASKETBALL FACTS
Dear pupils,
We started our English lessons with this funny activity.
Instructions: Two players stand side by side. The caller calls a number fact, e.g. 19 + 5, 15 – 3. The first player to call out the correct answer then has a turn at shooting for a point (throwing a ball into the waste bin). If successfull, the player scores a point.
THE FARM (Theatre Play). P4
Our P4 students enjoyed a theatre play at school today (by IPA Productions). It was about some farm animals: COW, CHICKEN, PIG, DUCK and SHEEP. We even sang!
Have a look at the photos we took during the play:
