2nd graders had a blast playing this traditional game at school!
Dear 2nd graders, are you ready for some apple bobbing tomorrow?
Vampires, skeletons, ghosts, zombies… Everyone is having fun dancing to the Halloween music!
This is the perfect song for Halloween, children!
The other day 2nd graders planned an expedition and gathered some necessary tools: shovels, piucks, brushes, magnifiers, pencils and notebooks. Pupils put into practice the excavation of a dummy site (a big box full of sand). They found some archaeological remains: coins, ceramic remains, bones and glass.
In “The Giving Tree” the tree feels a variety of emotions at the different stages of the boy’s life. Love, happiness, sadness, loneliness… Identify more feelings in this song and discuss what each emotion is and what makes you feel that way.
First graders have carried out a very easy and safe experiment. Steps:
1- Pour some milk onto a plate or bowl.
2- Add some drops of food colouring over the milk, right to the centre.
3- Dip a cotton bud into some liquid soap (dish soap).
4- Place the cotton bud with the drop of soap directly onto the food colouring and watch the colourful fireworks!
The milk fat interacts with the soap, which causes the milk to go wild!
Take a look around at these top dinosaurs and match them to their names.
