Sprouting Carrot Tops
This activity that is so simple to set up teaches us how root vegetables grow. We simply added a layer of water to a small dish. Then we pressed the carrot tops into the water and placed the dish in a sunny location. It took a few days for us to see the carrot tops begin to grow.
