STORY: Teddy’s Adventure
GUY FAWKES NIGHT (Bonfire Night)
Dear Bogatell students,
Today is 5th November, and on this date every year, children in Great Britain get excited because it’s Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes Night). They enjoy fireworks displays! And on top of the fire is a homemade model of a guy (like a scarecrow).
WHY THIS FESTIVAL? Because they remember when the King of England, James I, and the Houses of Parliament were nearly blown up with gunpowder.
REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 5th OF NOVEMBER!!!
