Students of I4, I5, and 1st grade at Escola Miralletes enjoyed a delightful performance titled “The Shoe Tree.” The play, presented in English, offered a fun and engaging way for our youngest learners to immerse themselves in the language through storytelling, music, and interaction.
The story follows Tim, who wakes up one morning to discover that one of his shoes has mysteriously disappeared. Determined to find it, he begins asking everyone around him, but no one seems to have seen it. Just when the mystery deepens, Mrs. Grey suggests a surprising idea: perhaps the missing shoe is in the Shoe Tree!
This imaginative tale captured the students’ attention from beginning to end. Through repetition, gestures, and simple dialogue, the children were able to follow the story and actively participate. Laughter, curiosity, and excitement filled the room as they joined Tim on his adventure.
The performance not only entertained but also supported language learning in a natural and enjoyable way. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to hear English in context and build their confidence.
The Shoe Tree: Teatre en anglès a l’Escola Miralletes
L’alumnat d’I4, I5 i 1r de primària de l’Escola Miralletes ha gaudit d’una divertida obra de teatre titulada “The Shoe Tree.” L’espectacle, representat en anglès, ha estat una manera molt engrescadora d’apropar els més petits a la llengua a través de la narració, la música i la participació.
Tim es desperta un matí i descobreix que ha perdut una de les seves sabates. Decidit a trobar-la, comença a preguntar a tothom, però ningú sembla haver-la vist. Quan el misteri es complica, la Mrs. Grey proposa una idea sorprenent: potser la sabata perduda és a l’Arbre de les Sabates!
Aquest conte ple d’imaginació va captar l’atenció dels infants de principi a fi. Gràcies a la repetició, els gestos i els diàlegs senzills, els nens i nenes van poder seguir la història i participar activament. Riures, curiositat i emoció van omplir la sala mentre acompanyaven en Tim en la seva aventura.
