P3 AND P4 FINSIH UP THEIR “BROWN BEAR” WALL DISPLAY

P3 and P4 have finished the wall displayed they are so proud of: BROWN BEAR, BROWN BEAR, WHAT DO YOU SEE?

After having read and worked with Bill Martin Jr’s tale we like so much, they have created a fantastic wall display that all the school has agreed it is very visual and easy to follow. Moreover, it helps us to recall the vocabulary dealt with during the tale: animals, colours, etc. Next to the wall display photo you’ll see the small collage P5 realized when they dealt with the tale in the Second Term.

COOKING SESSION WITH CI

The last week we had a cooking session with CI and it was amazing! They all were very responsible and brought all the ingredients required to make the cake! Good job boys and girls, a really good job! All the class enjoyed the whole process and even more the final product: THE CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMHHHHHHH!!!!!

MY QUESTION IS….. ACTIVITY (5th and 6th GRADES)

This third term we’ve borrowed a very nice idea from a website called elllo.org and we’ve decided to do something similar to what you can see in the videos section. We’ve thought of a question related to what we have worked in class until now and we have answered to it. 5th grades have answered to the question: WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE ANIMAL? and 6th grades to: WHAT DID YOU DO LAST SUMMER HOLIDAYS?

COME TO RASQUERA IN MAY THE 5TH AND 6TH!!!!

Hi Everyone!

On Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th, you a have many activities and stalls in Rasquera to enjoy because it’s the “Fira Ramader i d’Artesania” .

It’s a traditional event, in fact this is the 27th year they are celebrating it!!! That’s a lot of time!

Our “School Cooperative” and of course our students from Cicle Superior (5th and 6th grades) will be there selling the products that the cooperative has produced: aromatic oil, cloth mini-bags with aromatic leaves in it, etc…. Have a look at their stall, sure you’ll like to take something home!!!!!

MOTHER’S DAY – MAY 6TH

On Sunday 6th of May we celebrate Mother’s Day! It’s a very special day for all of us and in our school, from the English area, we’ll do some crafts to celebrate and commemorate this day! Students will do some crafts, very original and special crafts to give as presents to their beloved moms!!!!

THIRD TERM: PARTS OF THE HOUSE  (1ST GRADES) AND PARTS OF THE FACE (2ND GRADES)

This third term Cicle Inicial is dealing with the Parts of the House as well as types of houses and materials they are made of (1st grades) and with Parts of the Face and the Five Senses (2nd grades).

First Grades will also deal with the classic tale “The Three Little Pigs” to practice the vocabulary related to houses and what they are made of.

Second Grades will as well read a classic tale, that is, “Little Red Riding Hood” to practise vocabulary dealing with the parts of the face. 

Moreover, they have read and enjoyed a tale written by Anna Panisello and Estrella Ramon called “MY NOSE”. They liked very much the tale and the song that it’s inside the tale (in the CD)! Good job Anna and Estrella, keep on giving us such nice stories for us to enjoy!!!!
