Concept
Etwinning is the most important eLearning educational program in the European Union. It promotes projects among two or more schools in Europe making use of IT (Information Technology).
Who can participate?
All member states of the European Union as well as Norway and Iceland.
Collaborative Models There is a wide range of eTwinnings: online projects – with or without exchanges – among principals, teachers of the same subject, librarians, etc.
Objectives

To encourage the use of IT

To develop innovative activities with high pedagogical value among schools of different countries.
Benefits

To promote an European dimension: meeting and sharing with our neighboring countries (culture, historic relations, habits, organization models, educational experiences…).

To use English as the lingua franca to communicate with students whose mother tongue is not English either. 1st Batxillerat students: develop abilities related to IT and groupwork.
Previous requirements to be in the project for both schools

Involvement of both teachers and students (attitude: everybody must be convinced of how valuable this project/experience is and, therefore, we will work together to be successful: this is not just another trip).
