Visit to El Prat de Llobregat: 6.10.08

In the morning we worked on the history project: we watched part of the film Alatriste and did an activity on the connection of Spain and Belgium in the 16th century.

Then, we went to Sitges and we had a wonderful day. The weather was fantastic and our Belgian colleagues were just amazed!

Visit to El Prat de Llobregat: 3.10.08

In the morning we did an activity led by the Barcelona History Museum: “El Refugi 307 del Poblesec”. This is an antiaircraft shelter from de Spanish Civil War.

In the afternoon, both Belgian students and teachers had some time to go shopping.

In the evening, dinner at school with families and teachers.

The Colla de Diables del Prat made a wonderful show of music and fireworks. We all danced and had a great time!!

Then, official reception in the Town Hall by the main representative of the Education Section, Margarita Garcia. Short tour around the town with Margarita, the responsible for the Municipal Archive.

In the afternoon-evening treasure hunt in El Prat to get familiar with the places and main buildings.
