Visit to El Prat de Llobregat: 6.10.08
In the morning we worked on the history project: we watched part of the film Alatriste and did an activity on the connection of Spain and Belgium in the 16th century.
Then, we went to Sitges and we had a wonderful day. The weather was fantastic and our Belgian colleagues were just amazed!

Cycling tour in the Delta del Llobregat. This is a natural space where we could observe the delta of the river Llobregat and its rich biodiversity.

In the evening, we went to Barcelona to see the Magic Fountains of Montjuic.

In the morning we did an activity led by the Barcelona History Museum: “El Refugi 307 del Poblesec”. This is an antiaircraft shelter from de Spanish Civil War.

In the afternoon, both Belgian students and teachers had some time to go shopping.
In the evening, dinner at school with families and teachers.

The Colla de Diables del Prat made a wonderful show of music and fireworks. We all danced and had a great time!!

Barcelona History Museum. We did an activity called: “Barcelona: dels Àustries als Borbons“. In the afternoon there was a treasure hunt in downtown Barcelona for our Belgian colleagues to know the main landmarks of the city.
