Scientist in Action: Romans’ archs
1esoaalumne | 17 novembre 2013We went to the laboratory to do the activity of “Scientist in Action”. We saw how the romans made the archs. If the romans made a flat brigde when they put weight on it, the bridge was destroyed… so they invented the archs. In the arch there are the columns and an important piece that it is in the middle of the arch. If this piece doesn’t exist, the arch doesn’t exist. The arch we worked on it, was very small but it could support Anaïs as you can see in the pictures below!!! It was very interesting!!!!
