A language assistant

Primary 6 REPORTERS.

This year in Eladi Homs school we have an English language assistant. Her name is Anna Elliott. She helps students in the English lessons doing different tasks. Anna Elliott is a student at the University of Glasgow in Scotland but she is not Scottish, she is English. She comes from Newcastle.
We are learning a lot about her and her country. With her we do mainly oral activities in small groups. Pupils are taking a lot of profit in her lessons and are learning English language and culture.

Chicken Leg Dissection

Primary 6th students do science experiments in our English Science lesson. Here you have the instructions to do a Chicken Leg Dissection in your house.

Christmas Concert

On  Wednesday 21st  of  December, pupils of primary 5 in Eladi Homs School participate in a Christmas concert.

In this concert they sing with all primary 5 students  from Valls and a choir of the Musical School Luis Morondo from Barañain (Navarra).

This special Christmas concert is organized by the Musical School Robert Gerhard from Valls.

The concert is at the Cultural Centre at 7.00 in the evening.

Interview with M. José Lobo

PRIMARY 6 REPORTERS

On Friday 25th of November, Dídac and Anastasiya of the Bats class and Raul and Nil of the Lemurs class, went to Salou for the IX Jornades de Llengües Estrangeres to interview M. José Lobo a famous teacher of teachers.

Before teaching teachers, M. José Lobo tought in both primary and secondary school. Now she teaches in a university in Barcelona.

The interview began at 12.00 o’clock and lots of questions were asked, mostly about her job. M. JosĂ© Lobo answered the questions and gave us information about her job and her reasons for learning languages.

It was a very good experience and it was enjoyed by everyone.
