After reading these articles I was quite surprised, but one of them touched me the most. That one is which talks about gender violence, number two.
It explains Malebogo Malefhe story: she is a domestic abuse survivor who received eight bullets from her boyfriend of 10 years.
I’ve seen lot’s of articles like this one in the news but they still impact me the same.
I desagree with that gender difference. The man isn’t superior to the woman and I can’t understand how women endure that violence at all. First of all we deserve a man who loves and respects us.
This problem is growing up in our society and we need to stop it. So that’s why I like Malefhe initiative of fight against it.

  2. Maria Puga diu:

After reading these articles I was quite surprised, but one of them touched me the most.
That one is which talks about Mira Rai, the Nepali athlete who’s inspiring girls in her village to dream big.
This article has touched me because this girl since childhood wanted a better life, a better world for her and her family.
She explained that her grandmother and mother did not have the opportunity to gain respect and that she wanted to do something to change that.
Finally she became one of the top ultrarunners and with that act, she showed that everything can be changed if you want. You should never give up if you want something.

  3. Karen Ortiz diu:

After reading this article I realized that there are some stories around the world of women who make a change in society and are very good examples of what determination is.
One of the stories that touched me the most is Lucy Nabiki Takona, a safari guide who’s forging a path for women in the male-dominated field in Kenya. It explains how she always thought that the profession of beign a teacher is the only thing that a woman can do until she realize that there is not only one profession for woman, but there are more professions that are male-dominated but that woman can do too.
The fact that she never gave up about being one of the only few women in the male-dominated field makes me thing that we should never give up about our dreams, even if we think that maybe what we like it’s for males or not. We should do what we like no matter what.
Also, she is a very good example of perseverance and determination because she took the exam for the coveted silver badge and even not passing it, she is determined to try again.

  4. Montse Rebollero diu:

After reading this article I realized that there are some histories of women that have changed and that will change the society. Even though all the stories have impacted me and touched me urprised, there is one in particular that It has caused me a lot of rage and sadness.

One of the stories that touched me the most is Malebogo Malefhe, a domestic abuse survivor who is fighting gender-based violence. It explains how she ended up in a wheelchair because she was shot and has eight bullets from her boyfriend of 10 years. Since then, she has devoted herself to fighting gender-based violence in her native Botswana and teaching women that when men hurt them, it’s not their fault. This It’s very importat because a lot of women thinks that are her fault and no, the person who mistreats and assaults has the fault because nobody has the right to do it.

Finally, she is a big example of overcoming and constant struggle against injustices and gender violence.

  5. Anna Mirón diu:

After reading all these 7 stories, the one that touched me the most was the one of Malebogo Malefhe, from Botswana.

First of all, what really shocked me was the fact that she uses a wheelchair because a her boyfriend attacked her 10 years ago. She received eight bullets from him. It’s horrible how someone can be able to do something like this. But the fact that most of the people judges the girl, the victim, is horrible too.

That’s the reason why I think that Malebogo’s story is the most remarkable one.

She fights against gender-based violence on her country, teaching women that the victim shouldn’t blame herself. Her work it’s important to change the fact that even though we are in the 21st century, there are still women being attacked and being killed by their partners.

I’m sure that Malebogo’s experience will teach everyone about peace and equality.

  6. Laila Hammoudan diu:

The remarkable story touched me the most is Eqbal Dauqan a scientist from Yemen, a country torn by war. She talks of the need for support to refugee scientists, and of her belief that they can contribute to furthering science, for the world.

This article is the one that caught my attention because this woman being in such a complicated situation, in this case being at war, did not give up and fight for what she wants to be a scientist.

  7. Nawal diu:

This article shows how much inocent people is in the world. I also think that life it’s a long way and it takes a lot of turns. Women have been showing to the world for a lot of years how powerful and strong we can be. I think we have an important paper in society and althought we are men or women we must respect everyone because we all have our bests and our worst things, as every human and that’s why we should take care of what we do and what we say, it doesn’t matter our sex, colour of skin or country of origin. All of this article that haa drawn my atention , but there is one that has do it more than the others, this is the first one. I don’t like what happened to this woman, it is not an easy situation and it will take a lot of time to be heald.

  8. Laura Robles diu:

After reading this articles I was very surprised and I realized that there are a lot of stories related to the inferiority of women in our world and also the amounts of domestic abuse that there is every day around the world.
The story that touched me the most was the one of Malebogo Malefhe, from Botswana.
She is a domestic abuse survivor who is fighting gender-based violence and explains that she uses a wheelchair because she sustained eight bullets from her boyfriend of 10 years.
What gives me more anger is that the first question that people ask to her is: What did you do to him? I think that this type of question is inappropriate in this situation and I think that the correct question for her boyfriend would be: What did she do to deserve that? Because nobody deserves that suffering.

All the stories caught my attention because we can see how fighters we can become women if we propose something.

  9. Tania Pérez diu:

After reading this article, I realized that there are many women who have suffered changes in their lives and now they tell their stories to try to improve the lives of people who are in their same situations. But of all the stories the one that has touched me the most and has been Malebogo Malefhe, of Botswana.

Magebogo explains that he received eight bullets from her boyfriend 10 years ago and therefore is in a wheelchair now. Since that, she has fighting gender-based violence in her countrie and teaching women that it’s not their fault when men hurt them. After that she was given an International Woman of Courage award by the State Department for her work with domestic violence survivors.

I think it’s ghastly that a boyfriend could manage to do that, but I think it’s worse that people can think that it was Malebogo fault, as defending to the boyfriend.

  10. Rubén Guevara diu:

After reading those seven articles, I can confirm that the case of the botswanan girl, Malebogo Malefhe, touched my hearth and made me feel angry. A lot of people suffer gender violence around the world and a lot of people could be identified with Malebogo’s case.

The reason that made me feeling in this way is that been shooted by the person you love is very traumatic and devastating. I also support this case because I love the encouragement that has Malebogo to help other women, having supported for 10 years eight bullets of his boyfriend.

I can’t understand why gender or domestic violence victims can think that these abuses could be their fault. In any case the gender or domestic violence victims have to mistreat their own person because of that, it isn’t their fault.

  11. Rubén Pérez diu:

After reading those articles that I think are very sad but at the same time emotional, I chose the history of Alika Kinan like the story that touch my the most and made me feel sad and angry.

The reason that made me feel this way its because she´s being kidnaped and sexually abused for 20 years and I think that this situation can drive crazy to anyone that lives it, but she still strong and fight trought his traffickers and winning, becoming an important activist against traficking with the past of the years.

I think that she´s a fighter person and an exemple of superation and strongness to all of us.

  12. Abel López diu:

After reading this incredible articles, the one that touched me the most was the story of Alika Kinan, a woman frim Argentina, but I think that all are unbelievable stories.
I realized that are a lot of women that had suffered in their lives and now they are telling their stories.
In my opinion, the story of Alika Kinan is the most amazing and makes me feel so sad. I think that any woman in te world should pass for this situation. She was kipnaped and sexually abused for 20 years by 15 or 30 men every day. I think that it’s a shame and it’s a violation of the human rights.
Even so, she fight against the traffickers and she became an important activist. She is absolutelly an example for all the women.

  13. Marina Iniesta Padial diu:

After reading all these articles I am really angry with society. But I’m even more angry with me, because these situations don’t surprise me anymore, and I know that I’m not the only one who feels this way. I think that we shouldn’t normalize these situations and we have to keep fighting for us.
All women have lived complicated situations like these once in their lives and if we don’t do anything about it, those things will happen over again. Something has to change right now, because I can’t sit here watching how women are shouted, beaten and insulted just for being women.
The first two stories are the most horrible. When I read the article about that girl called Malefhe shouted by her boyfriend and she answered the first question people asked her is “What did you do to him?” I felt shame about society.
I wish in a near future women don’t have to worry about those things again.

  14. Eric Delgado diu:

After reading all these articles of these seven women, the one that for me is more shocking it was the history of Malebogo Malefhe. It’s horrible!
Many women around all the world suffer violence of kind every year, and this make me feel shame of our society.

I think that if really we’re the animals more intelligent of the planet and we have common sense we would have to realize the atrocities that we do.
The thing that make me choose these story are the 8 shoots of his boyfriend to her. The incident it was nearly to cost Malefhe her life.

In my opinion, we have to try to re-educate the society to prevent more victims of violence of kind.

  15. Júlia Requena diu:

After reading the articles I feel impress about what all these womens have done and experienced. I think that you can think about them as an example of strong womens.

The story of Alika Kinan is the one which touched me the most. Being trafficked and then violated by 15 to 30 men day after day during nearly 20 years is something that nobody would expect to live in their life. Reading that she decided to be an activist against trafficking it makes me feel amazed about how strong she is.

I also have to say that I was surprised that it didn’t touched me as much as I expected because I am used to watch these articles in the News.

  16. Andrea Gutiérrez diu:

This seven articles have been interesting, but in my opinion the first two, which treat about the gender violence, should be much more, because a lot of women were in that situation, and they survived her abuser.

Even so, the article that has most conveyed me has been the story of Lucy Nabiki Takona, a girl who decided to do that she wanted, not be a teacher, but be coveted silver badge making her way into the male-dominated field.

This article is an example of how the women repress themselves only for what others might think, something very common that shouldn’t exist in 21st century.

  17. Andrés Cañar diu:

After reading these articles I feel astonished because it make me to start to think in what type of society we are, supposedly after more people had fought, along the time, for create and defence their rights we should to live in a very stable and comfortable society, but how we can read it’s not like this. Now a day, we still see or read horrible stories like Malebogo Malefhe it’s not possible that in some places have already gotten and enormous difference between men’s and women and these cause that without no reason someone could shoot to somebody.
In my opinion not only the governments also all of us need to think if it’s these the real life that we want now and for the future

  18. Gerard Perez diu:

In these articles we saw heroines. They are fighting to improve their society. They are fighting for her rights.

The article that has impacted me more was Lucy Nabiki. She saw a woman who has knowledge and Lucy was realized can study what she want and now she is safari guide.

  19. All of the articles are very strong and clever girls that accomplished her objectives with a lot of effort and they have lived very hard situations. They deserve the recognition and of everybody and show that everyone can get their objectives fighting hard.

All the posts were sad, but especially the ones that their lives were in danger like Malegobo or Alika. I can’t imagine being in her situations. These stories show the reasons of why we must fight for the gender equality and how cruel can some people be.

  20. From my point of view, all those women have proved that feminism was the word of the year 2017. They are warriors like our mums or grandmas, they deserve all the best for not being scared of what they say.

The story that impacted me more, was of Alika Kinan. For me, that’s a terrifying story. Yeah! It’s really hard to think about the suffering, that this argentinean woman has lived. What this woman lived was horrible, and I feel really proud of her. First, for suing her traffickers. Secondly, for getting over all her past and narrate us her experience in the sex trafficking. And, at last, for helping other women.

To sum up, I feel very sad to hear, see and watch stories like all those women. But, I know that this world is changing, and soon or later the justice will always win.

  21. Judith González diu:

At this articles wecan see how fighters are women and how important is help to others, like this women do.

Eqbal Dauqan. Her story touched me the most. She was a refugee, a warrior. She didn’t deter her passion, being a scientist when the war breaks in Yemen.
For me, that is an example of self-improving, and it must be an example for the rest of the world.
Even with a war in her country, that haven’t stopped. A bomb in her university killed some of her students, but, she never let her dreams.
She think maybe her science could get her out of the war.

Now, she works as a scientist, researcher and profesor at an university of Malaysia. She didn’t give up any moment.

  22. marina revelles diu:

All the stories are very striking and these women are very strong. So,i can’t decide for one story because now a days this type of events happen in a lot of countries. I don’t mind if it happens on Asia or Africa, because also happen in Spain and other rich countries.

Usually I listen coments that I hate because sometimes the man thinks that the woman is less stronger than him. This type of coments are very inappropriate.
I would like to see a world where the women amd the men have the same power.

  23. Nerea pecero diu:

After reading these article I was quite surprised, but one of them, which talks about gender violence touched me the most. That one is the second.
The Malebogo Malyhe story says that she is a domestic abuse survivor who recived eight bullets from her boyfriend of 10 years and actually she uses a wheelchair for this reason.
I see a lot of articles like this and It has become normal but I totally disagree with the gender difference.
I think the man never has been superior to the women and more inteligent or more able to do some things. The only difference it’s sex.
This problem is growing up in the society of all the world and we need change it.
Malef it’s an example to follow.

  24. Meryem diu:

In my opinion, these articles have made me feel proud of these women. There are million of stories to explain around the world, and I think that these women are brave for did it. Undoubtedly they are a model for others.

All these stories impacted me, but there is one that really made me think a lot. The Zainabu Hamayaji story, she would do anything for have her children save and that says a lot of her. I admire the people that never give up.

In conclusion, I think that we have to help the people that suffers any type of violence and be like a team for a better world.
