Our 4th grade students (4t ESO) have been learning about the holocaust during some English lessons this month. They have been analysing some reading comprehensions on the reasons that brought about the genocide of milions of Jews, and thousands of gipsies, disabled and homosexuals. Besides, they could understand what it was like after watching several videos related to this mass killing. They have also listened to songs and learnt words related to concentration camps, by means of which they could understand the cruelty of the nazi regime. They have been told about the biography of the most horrifying nazis and have taken part in several activities for the dignification of the people who passed away under the nazi terror. Memory means dignity, while forgettiness indignity.

Ich bin ein 57-jähriger katalanischer Lehrer, Schriftsteller und Literaturkritiker.
