Last Wednesday 27th February all Bisbe’s Berenguer Batxillerat students had the wonderful opportunity to attend a Scottish dancing workshop. David Vivanco conducted this fab session where all the students learnt some of the most popular Scottish traditions, songs and dances. They also learnt English in a very funny and exciting way. So, I am sure that their motivation towards English Language may have improved.
Find below some comments written by some of the students who attended this workshop:
“In my opinion, David is a great dancing teacher because I don’t really like dancing but it was a very active activity and an opportunity to disconnect from the daily routine. Everybody engaged in this activity. I think, we need more activities like this one to practice English Language in a funny and relaxed atmosphere”. Sergi Gabarró.
“… We learnt Scottish dances, it was a funny experience because we danced together teachers and students, we sang together and we had fun all together, learning English, of course. After the activity I spoke with other students and they told me that they had understood most of the things that David said in English and they were very excited and proud about this fact”.
