3B: What are they doing?

These two activities are considered as a Listening and Speaking Exams.

It’s very important to do them if you want to pass the 1st term of English.

  1. Watch the video and answer the questions: What are they doing?
  2. Record yourself in a video and do a similar activity: What are you doing now? What do you usually do instead? You have to talk about yourself, your family, your friends... Use Present Simple/Continuous, time expressions, adverbs of frequency, Stative Verbs… Be original!

In the video, YOU CAN’T read. If you read, it will be NA.

Length of the video: between 1’5 and 2 minutes (videos with less than 1’5 minutes will be assessed as NA).

DIVERSITAT Students: Your video can be 1 minute long (minimum). Describe the following video: Mr Bean: The exam

My family tree (Part 2)

Now, you need to:

  1. Draw your family tree (it can be your real family or an invented/imaginary one). Use real family photographs or images/pictures of celebrities from a magazine.
  2. Record yourself in a video, describing 4/5 members of your family.

The video has to be between 1 and 2 minutes long.

You need to use vocabulary of the FAMILY, and describe them (tall, short, hair, etc).

In the video, you CANNOT read.

The video is considered a Speaking Exam, so it’s very important to do it if you want to pass the 1st Term in English.

Be original!!
