2nd Batxillerat: My presentation

Dear 2nd Batxillerat students,

Welcome to your last school year!

Let’s know each other a bit more. Here you have some information about me (the link is no longer available).

Your task for this week is to create an interactive presentation using THINGLINK. You can decide which information you want to provide (hobbies, habits, age, plans for the future, etc, etc, etc).

Assessment criteria:

  1. Create at least 5 different tags
  2. Write at least 5 different paragraphs in different tags
  3. Record your voice at least 5 times (giving the piece of information that you want)
  4. Add at least 3 different websites
  5. Add at least 5 different pictures/photographs
  6. Originality is a plus!
  7. Post your presentation in a comment below this article

Deadline: Thursday 23rd September

Digital Workbook registration

Dear 3rd ESO students,

Here you have the instructions to create your NEW USER and PASSWORD for your Digital Workbook.

Remember that:

  • Your ACTIVATION CODE is in the email that Iddink sent to your email (or your parents’ email) when you bought the books.
  • Your USER NAME must be: Your name.Surname (2 capital letters!!)
  • Your PASSWORD must be: Your name.Mallafre (2 capital letters!! If you need to include numbers in it, write your age at the end)
  • CLASS CODES:
    • 3rd A: A701D
    • 3rd B: 47926
    • 3rd C: 04506
  • Remember to BOOKMARK the website when you finish all the steps. You should also SAVE your user and password in your computer.

Dear 3rd A students,

Watch this video and take notes in your notebook of the main differences between Present Simple and Present Continuous (expressions, affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences, the uses and the examples).

While you are watching the video, some questions will appear and you need to answer them.

While your classmates are doing the retaking exams, do the following activities:

Go to your INTERACTIVE book.

  1. Go to Unit 1, and watch the “Culture” video.
  2. Comment the following on this blog (long comments, please):
    1. Which is your favourite food?
    2. Do you like international food? Which is your favourite international dish?

    1. Which type of accommodation do you prefer when travelling?
    2. Write a short comment about a good experience that you had in an accommodation (3-4 lines: when and when was it? Who did you go with?)

  2. Comment the following on this blog (long comments, please):
    1. Have you ever been to Paris or London?
    2. Write 2 or 3 things that you learnt from this video about these two wonderful cities.
    3. Would you like to visit them? Why or why not?
