During this year we have watched different plays in English. Can you recognize the one  you have seen at the theatre?

Write some comments about it. Do you like watching plays in English? Why? Can you write the tittle of the story you have seen ? Remember to add your name and surname.

We are learning English around the theatre:

STUDENTS OF YEAR 4 ARE GREAT ACTORS!!!!!

The students of year 4 played a funny story related to the vampires for

the children of year 1.

The tittle was: “DAYS AND NIGHT”

YEAR 1 AND 2 ARE VERY LUCKY!!!

The 26th March the students of the IES. Ferrer i Guàrdia performed

a very interesting story that we know very much: “PETER PAN”.

Year 1 and 2 liked their costumes and the way they played it.

YEAR 5 AND 6 CREATE THEIR OWN STORIES

Year 5 and 6 invent their own stories about everyday conversations or

horror stories and then they show them  to the other classmates.

We have started the English lessons plenty of different activities.

WE ARE LEARNING TO WORK IN  COOPERATIVE GROUPS

Is it difficult for you? What responsability do you prefer doing?

WE SOMETIMES DO DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES AT THE SAME TIME IN CLASS.

WE CAN WORK BY OUR OWN.

WE PREPARE PLAYS IN GROUPS: listening to the stories or writing our scary descriptions or stories.

WE CAN SPEAK ENGLISH: acting out, disguising ourselves, studying the script,…

and WE INTERVIEW FAMOUS PEOPLE and we go over all the questions and answers which we are learning in English.

We celebrated the St. George’s Day in English, too.  Explaining a funny story for the youngest children “THE HUNGRY CATERPILLAR” or playing a story by the classmates of YEAR 4: ” THE BRAVE KNIGHT”. Everybody did a great job!!!!Congratulations!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! The first term is over and you worked very hard. You practiced English playing stories, following instructions to make  hallowe’en crafts

playing games,singing songs, working in groups…

and the 18th December year 5 and 6 shared their christmas songs with the students of IES. Ferrer i Guàrdia. This was a special experience!!!!
