Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas. People in the UK put up Christmas trees, Christmas lights and other decorations. They also put up Christmas cards from their friends and family. Lots of children have an advent calendar. It’s got twenty-four windows. They open one window every day from 1st December.
