Every village in our contry and around the world has a special way of celebrating, but there is a common character everywhere: King Carnestoltes. He represents disorder and debauchery, but at the end of Carnival, King Carnestoltes is sentenced to death in order to restore order.
Why do we like dressing up?
Because we like to break the rules that tell us we must always be neat and tidy. And we can pretend to be whoever we like, for example superheroes or professions that we would like to do. Hey, and adults like it too!
