El dia 30 d’octubre es celebra la nit de Halloween. Té el seu origen en les antigues tradicions irlandeses quan es creia que els esperits venien, i el poble es disfrassava per tal d’espantar-los. Va ser amb la immigració dels irlandesos a Estats Units que van difondre aquesta tradició.
