If I listen 2 it in the next 3 years I will think “What about if I go 2 Can Serra and say hello 2 the teachers?” and if I listen to it in more than 3 years I’ll wonder how are you, if u continue in Can Serra and that I’ve to organize a dinner with all students and teachers…
U know I’m going 2 miss u a lot, so much it’ll hurt, I’m never going 2 have any teacher like you, with the one I’ll learn 2 use programs like Prezi, the one that tells me about the next Mika’s concert, the one that shows me amazing restaurants in BCN like Dans Le Noir (did I write it well?), the one that told me what 2 visit in London or Japan… the one that makes me know that you’ve 2 be who u really are, if u like Justin Bieber u like him without any problem, doesn’t care what people think about it. I won’t forget u and I’m going 2 visit Can Serra as much as possible and ASAP. I’m going 2 use the vocabulary u teach me like… gig, the movies, ASAP, Schedule…
We’ll meet in Malala’s event, won’t we? Wow, WHAT a message… First of all, I must say that I’m really moved after reading your words… Gotta tell you the truth: couldn’t help crying. They’re so moving and touching. I really appreciate to read such an honest message. Thank you so much for being an excellent student, not only ‘excellent’ in terms of marks and knowledge, but also in terms of politeness, sense of humo(u)r, maturity and complicity. As I wrote you down on your pic, it’s been a pleasure to teach you during all these years and to learn from all your experiences.
Well, I’m sure we both, we all, have plenty of memories (a beautiful, powerful and rich background of knowledge) full of experiences, details, annecdotes, etc. that we can’t even remember, but that will come out on our minds, little by little, in the future.
Concerning the video … It’s really embarassing when u get home, u transfer it to your laptop, and u realize that I was singing much louder than the singer, lol. Anyway, I know how much u love this song, and that’s the reason why I made this video and I uploaded here so you all could watch it and see how exciting the gig was. BTW, it was packed with ‘under-16-girls’ who finally couldn’t get in because of their age! They were crying out sooo much, I felt sorry for them but it was very well explained in the tickets. So, u did good staying home! Don’t worry, because I’m sure he’ll make more albums and, in the future, we could go (with your parents too) and enjoy the concert 2gether 🙂
I hope you’re finally coming 2 see Malala with us. Let me know as soon as u get the tickets, pls 🙂 I’d rather say “Don’t hesitate” rather than “don’t wonder about it”, it sounds much better 2 me. I, we, have to go to Menorca!!! Maybe next year we’ll go, dunno, it really depends on our working schedule and our budget. U oughta know (did u know this expression?) that the sentence which moved me more was “the one that makes me know that you’ve/have 2 be who u really are”. U couldn’t have chosen a better one! 😉
I’m sure you’ll get really far. One day, I hope to sit down watch the Academy Awards ceremony and see Natalie Steward collecting her best-actress Oscar and thanking (in perfect American English) her oldie teacher of English. When there’s a group of students who leave the school, I always remember the sentence I read long time ago in a very beautiful book: “Usted vive en los corazones de todos los que ha tocado y alimentado mientras usted estuvo aquí”. I can assure you I keep in my heart all the moments and the students who made me feel proud of my job: not only teaching and sharing, but also receiving and getting richer thanx to such great students.

Hi there Christian, how r u?
On 11th July I arrived from Ireland… WOW! Those 10 days have been amazing! I didn’t want to come back to Spain! Really! I was hoping that the flight was cancelled or something similar to be there few more days. I’ve been in a town in Limerick called Pallasgreen, with a couple (they were more than 45 years old) who have 2 daughters aged 18 and 20 years old, however they didn’t live with us ‘cause they’re working out of Limerick (and the older one, out of Ireland). And I also was with a 13-year-old girl from Andorra called Alexia, we are good friends now (well I met a lot of people, now I miss them so so so much). The woman is called Mary and the man.. I don’t know it was a very extrange name (//:shosheang://), anyway both were very friendly and kind, they told us (Alexia and I) every time we went out for a walk with friends “You can come home whenever you want, the door is open” :O :O really nice!!! We went home at about 11:30pm :$ just the first day, the others we went earlier ‘cause we were very tired. And well, we ate lots of chips… Once we had fish and chips for dinner, I love it!! At 8:00am we woke up, at 8:45am we ate breakfast, at 9:00am we were at school, at 12:00am we had lunch, at 6:00pm we’d dinner.. I like so much this eating schedule! And for breakfast we ate a toast, lunch: sandwich and dinner: fish & chips! 🙂 The classes were really nice I was on the highest level! The last day the was a disco… I don’t like dancing, but there was also a Karaoke!! So I sang every Bruno Mars, One Direction, Justin Bieber, Jason Mraz song there were! Now everybody remember my voice, some people record me! :$ Next time I see u I’ll tell u everything ‘cause here, I don’t have enough time.

Gotta be honest, I was waiting for your message!!! I am really pleased to see you had a great time in Ireland. Let’s talk about the language! What about the Irish accent? Was it hard to understand? Did you get used to it easily? Did you learn a lot of English? Are you more -if possible- fluent now? What language anecdotes can you recall?
BTW, I must admit that I DO love (and miss) that eating schedule too. I do believe that, this way, u can make the best of your time, don’t y’think? But, well… u know … Our country is sadly different (in many different aspects…).

Hahah!! OMG I don’t know what to say first…
The Irish accent was.. weird, well it depends of the person (I think) ‘cause Mary had a very easy accent, so did my teachers, but Mary’s husband had a horrible accent, it was very difficult!! When I saw him for the first time, he told me “hello” but with his accent “//:haluu://”, however most of the people use a lot the sound SH to speak: //:whash ash you doing hia?:// (what are you doing here?). And, I also spoke with a little of Irish accent… well just the SH sound 🙂 I find English easier to understand now, but I don’t think I’m more fluent… The first day I went for a walk I saw a fish&chips shop, so (knowing how am I) I get into the shop and started to speak to the people who were waiting for their food, I didn’t uderstand what were they saying ‘cause they had the same accent that Mary’s husband (hahaha) but I knew they were speaking about the shops and pubs of Pallasgreen. My friends and I also talked to some guys… but that’s a thing I prefer to tell you personally (is that correct?) 😛
I wanna read that info ‘bout Malala!! I wanted to go, but it’s ok… now I can think “Don’t worry Natàlia, it can not be that easy to see Malala, you’ll do something very important in the future and you’ll see Malala when you want! Maybe collecting my best-actress-award or a nobel peace prize” jajaja 🙂
