Halloween is here!

During the last sessions we have worked on Halloween. As you can see at the picture, a student from 2nd has brought a nice pumpkin. In addition, we have created some masks in a curious way: students thought they were doing a house because we started cutting the roof, a door, then a small door and finally a window, but when they opened it, they discovered that they had a pumpkin!

The last session we watched the following song and we also danced with the skeleton! Can you do the skeleton dance?

Guernica for kids

On 3rd level we´re working on Picasso. One of his most famous picture is Guernica, that represents the bombing of Guernica. Picasso’s Guernica depicts people, animals, and buildings wrenched by the violence and chaos of the carpet bombing. This large canvas embodies for many the inhumanity, brutality and hopelessness of war, and the cruety of bombing civilians.

But nowadays Guernica is also a symbol of peace. There is a project where children shows peace… and that´s what we´re doing in EnArtglish. We started drawing Guernica and now we´re colouring it, making it funny!
