Hello and good morning!

We are the group of project ‘ Clau Anglesa ‘ and we are going to introduce the information about London:

London is a city and the capital of England (United Kingdom.

 

THE FLAG

The flag has got two colours: red and white.

POLITICAL ASPECTS

It is a monarchy because they have good a queen. The name of the queen is Isabel II and she lives in Buckimgham palace.

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO GO TO LONDON?

1. One socket because the electricity system is different.

2. Different clothes because they have a changeable weather. And the umbrella!

3. The European card to go to the doctor.

4. THE ID (DNI)

6. No euros! Change for pounds in the bank.

WHAT DO THEY EAT?

The typical british breakfast has got:

1. Bacon

2. Black pudding

3. Fried eggs

4. Backed beans

5. Sausages

They have dinner “cenen” at 6 o’clock.

IMPORTANT MONUMENTS

1. Big ben: The Big ben is a tower with a clock and a bell in Webminster where it is the Parlament of the city. The name of Big ben is from two possible option: the first one is for the name of the architetch ‘Benjamin’ or a boxer named ‘Benjamin’, too.

2. London eye: It is an atraction for visitors. It cost 20 pound per adult and hour. It closed to the Thames river.

3. Important museums: British museum, tate modern.. They are all free.

4. London bridge: Is is a bridge that crosses the Thames river. They can only be crossed by motorbikes, cycles and humans. Boats have to call to the bridge with 24h in advance.

5. The metro: the metro is expensive. It costs around 5 euros.

 

COLÒNIES CICLE INICIAL, Coma-ruga

Els passats dies 2,3 i 4 de maig els/les nens/es de Cicle Inicial vam anar de colònies a l’alberg Santa Maria del Mar a Coma-ruga.
Van ser tres dies molt divertits on vam poder fer moltes activitats a la platja i al mar, castells de sorra, jocs a la platja, viatge en una barca de vela, dissecció d’un peix, una estrella imant de recordatori…
Ens va fer molt bons dies i ens vam començar a posar “morenos/es”!
Vam tenir uns monitors molt animats que ens van acompanyar tots els dies.
