WALES

There are 3.074.067 inhabitants in Wales and the language is Welsh . Welsh is a celtic language belonging to the Indo-European family. It comes from the British Celtic. The flag of this country is this:

 

Wales is on the west of the United Kingdom,in Europe. The currency is Pound sterling: £.

The weather of wales is oceanic ( is caracterized by having average temperatures in summer 15ºC-18ºC and in winter under 5ºC) and the best season to go there is between May and October. If you go to Wales you can visit :The legendary island of Bardsey, The Millennium Stadium ( in this stadium, Real Madrid won the Champions League vs Juventus)and the Castle of Cardiff. The typical food of this country is lamb and goat cheese.

BAHAMAS

Bahamas islands are on the north American Continent and there are 390 inhabitants.

The official language of Bahamas is the English and the coin is Bahamian dollar.

One incredible and famous place is the Paradise Island also called the heaven on earth. This beach has some really famous sunsets in beautiful postcards.

Another place is the Dean’s blue hole. The Dean’s blue hole is a deep hole at 202 metres. It is the second hole in the world.

The festivities of Bahamas are the following:

-New Year, Easter, labor day, day of the race, Christmas, San Esteban day.

One of the most popular dishes that we find within the gastronomic customs is the spiced mollusk that can be eaten fried, roasted or boiled and the aphrodisiac cocktails.

The most refreshing time to explore the islands is between September and May when the temperature averages 21-24 C. The best month to go there is March.

The history of the Bahamas begins with the earliest arrival of the humans in the islands in the first millenium BC ( before Crist ) The first inhabitants of the islands were the Lucayans. Recorded history began on 12 October 1492 when Christopher Columbus landed on the island of Guanahami. After that date, it became a very exploited tourist destination.
