Squash at the Commonwealth

Squash is one of the sports at the quadrennial Commonwealth Games competition. It has been a Sport since 1998. It is a core sport and must be included in the sporting programme of each edition of the Games. Is a racquet sport played in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. The players take it turns to hit the ball with their racquet into the walls of the court. There are events for men and women in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

Winners

The winner of these games in  single’s men was Nick Matthew in the single’s woman  was Nicol David in double’s man were Cameron Pilley and David Palmer in double’s woman were Rachael Grinham and David Palmer.

The hosts and the best countries

The host city was Glasgow and the country was Scotland the best nation was Australia
