We started working some verbs, related to the tenses dealt in class and then  we look for verbs in some books, we mimed their actions, we sang a song and changed the verbs. Then, they decided to learn the lyrics of “Love someone”, and we used the song to highlight all the “personal pronouns” (we called them subjects). We had a list on the board:
