The last 3 Art sessions have been devoted to study a French artist called Robert Delaunay through the creation of two projects.
Les últimes 3 classes de plàstica s’han dedicat a estudiar l’artista francès Robert Delaunay a través de la creació de dos projectes.
Delaunay was famous by his abstract art, in which he used lines and circles, and also, looked for contrast between warm and cold colours.
Delaunay va ser famós pel seu art abstracte, en el qual va utilitzar línies i cercles, i també, buscava contrast entre els colors càlids i freds.
In the first activity we also introduced the concept of symmetry and created a drawing and its “mirror”. Also, students had to follow a rule: one drawing had to be coloured using warm colours and the other one using cold ones. The objective was to achieve contrast and this is the fantastic result:
A la primera activitat també vam introduir el concepte de simetria i vam crear un dibuix i el seu mirall. Els alumnes havien de seguir una norma: un dibuix havia de ser pintat amb colors càlids i l’altre amb freds. L’objectiu era aconseguir contrast i aquest és el fantàstic resultat:
As you can see, in the second activity, they had to draw some circles and lines using the compass and the ruler. Afterwards, they gave colour using watercolours. The challenge here was that warm colours couldn’t be touched among them and the same goes for cold ones.
