During this unit, 5th grade have learnt different aspects about some countries: France, India, China, the UK, Argentina, the USA… Some of the aspects were the colours of their flags, their size, the weather, the traditional food and where they are situated in our Earth.
Last week each student chose a country and looked for information about it on the computer; and this week they have done the presentation. We learnt many different things, for example:
- The USA is a very large country.
- Andorra is just in the north of Catalonia.
- One of the typical dishes in Sweden are the Swedish meatballs.
- In India it’s hot in summer and warm in winter.
- Spain is in Europe.
- Korea’s flag is blue, red, white and black.
- One of the most typical food in Catalonia is bread with tomato and olive oil.
- Pakistan belongs to the Asian continent.
