Airoport On your arrival by plane

-To Barcelona by taxi

For those arriving by plane: you can either take a taxi directly to your destination (which will cost around €30-35). The automatic counter should be on. Taxis take up to 4 people per trip, and there are charges for every piece of luggage.

-To Barcelona by bus
Alternatively, you can take the airport bus or train into the city centre. The airport bus-stop is directly outside the international terminal building and the bus is a distinctive royal blue colour. The bus also goes to the Plaza Catalunya, via the Plaza España. It currently costs 9.95 €* round trip, and operates between 07.30 and 22.00 h.

Single ticket: 5,75 € *
Valid for one person and his/her luggage and valid up to one hour after purchasing.

Return ticket: 9,95 € *
Valid for person and his/her luggage. Valid GOING for to 1 hour after purchasing, and valid RETURN up to 9 days after purchasing. You must keep the ticket for the return trip.

Integrated travel tickets (T-10, T-Mes, T-50/30, T-Trimestre T-Jove, T-Familiar, T-Dia) are not valid for this service. All children under 4 years can have free tickets. You can not book tickets in advance.

-To Barcelona by train

The airport train station is about 200m from the terminal building. The train stops in Sants Station and also at the station in the Passeig de Gràcia and El Clot. It runs every 30 minutes, in both directions, from 06.00 to 23.00 and it has changed contidions since 4th November 2012

Train ticket vending machines can be found in both the airport station and the stations in Barcelona city centre. There are five ticket machines at Barcelona Airport. If you are struggling to use the machine you should look out for somebody wearing a high visibility jacket – there is normally somebody manning the machines who can help you to use the machine and purchase your ticket.

– By taxi
Taxis in Barcelona are easily noticed because their black and yellow colour. They can be stopped in the street if ther are showing green-light, or in one of the many taxi stop-stations in Barcelona.

– By bus

It is very useful to buy a T-10 card for busses and undergroud trips. It costs €9.25 for central Barcelona area and €18,40 for a the compound T-10 ticket that reaches enlarged zones to include surroundings.

2 ZONES: 19,40 € – * 1h. 30m.
3 ZONES: 26,40 € – * 1h. 45m.
