Gary and Lucy, Scottish and English football journalists, visited the centre last Friday 11th October. They gave a speech on British culture, especially on Scotland, since the lesson 2A and 2B are working on, refers to the history and culture of this country.
The students took advantage of Gary and Lucy being journalists to ask them questions related to their jobs. The kids got really enthusiastic when both of them said they had interviewed Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Messi among other well known international football players.
The students got really motivated to use English to comunicate with Gary and Lucy, since they found the real necessity to do so.
Before the Britons left, they encouraged our students to study English really hard as well as other foreign languages, since they will definetely need them in their future professional carrers.
