The Fonix is a competition for Catalan schools aimed at strengthening the multilingual competence of students, particularly English learning. The competition presents participants with a fun challenge and an opportunity for shared discovery.

The Fonix is also aimed at developing students’ ability to engage in critical and reflexive thinking so that they are able to solve problems in a creative way that takes full advantage of digital environments and transmedia communication.
