Three months of holidays give a lot of time to plan and do lots of different things. For me, this summer has been very dynamic, because I’ve visited many places and I’ve also done lots of extraordinary activities, special things which I don’t usually do. However, my favourite keepsake between all I’ve lived this summer is, without any doubt, my trip to Andorra. My family and I went there by the end of August and we stayed in the country for about three or four days. Our hotel was in the middle of the city centre, so it was a perfect location which let us to spend all day going shopping. Nevertheless, this activity is quite tiring and it’s very harsh doing it day by day, so we also went to the mountain for breathing fresh air and changing our environment. One day we chose to go to an excursion where there were three lakes. So, we caught our bags and we started to go up the mountain! The ascent was not very complicated, but exhausting. When we finally arrived to the lakes, we agreed that they were really beautiful and the surroundings as well, but the problem was that the place was full of flies disturbing without stop! After the excursion, we went to a restaurant and we had a really good time; my father sometimes decides to let his sense of humour emerge from its rotutinary prision. The strange point of this holiday was that I was expecting to see the boy of my dreams, but the problem is that he arrived exactly the day when I was leaving, so I couldn’t see him. But, in fact, what minds the most is that he is now by my side and I know whatever happens, he’ll still be there for me.
This summer I went on holidays in Balears Islands, particulary in Mallorca. When my big sister told me if I wanted to go I diden’t doubt any second.
We ( me and my big sister, Carla ) went alone. We steyed in the house of a university friend of Carla.
Carla and me stayed there for a five days, but they were very good spongers.
All started one Friday’s morning in July when we took the Spainair plane in the airport of Port, which was very different from the last time that I saw it, then the new terminal wasn’t built.
This new terminal is practice and modern, because there isn’traffic and the suitcase craft is faster than the other terminals. When we arrived in the airport of Mallorca Guillem (the university friend of my sister) was waiting for us.
We sat up to his car and he drove to his house in Palma, to met his parents and brother. Once time the presentations were finish we went all together to visit palma.
They showed the famous cathedral of Palma the Mallorca, the Major square, a square around there was a lot of archs and diferent shops (the square remembered me the townhall square of Vic).
In the afternoon we took the suitcase which we didn’t undo and left to “ Sa Rapita”.
Sa Rapita is a small village with coast, a very calm place with a very beautiful beach, with no polution and tourist. Then was a lighthouse and a forest.
The family of Guillem in summer live in a house of Sa Rapita, as a second house, situated in a small estate.
After we had been in Palma, Sa Rapita seemed to be ina different palce, because there was very calm and the air of the mountains…
The other four days we slept in Sa rapita and all the mornings we went to the beach to sunbathe, however we did a lot of activities and excursion all four together, my sister Carla, Guillem, his brother Xisco who has the same age that me, and me.
We vivited the famous and typical Dragon Caves, and the only round castle tht exists in Palma, the Vellvé Castle, the Vallformosa village where we visited the house where Chopin stayed for practice his music.
Furthermore we visited Soller a charming village with crystalline, savory, pure and clean watter.
In the disco we didn’t go but we listened direct concerts about Balears singers, sometimes I didn’t understand the letter but the enviornament was very good!
Moreover we were very lucky because we could look and took part in Sa Rapita Mayor party.
This summer holidays was of death. I enjoy a lot! And we decided that they (Guillem, Xisco and probly his parents) are going to come and stay in Argentona somedays.
Ah! I can’t leave because I have to say the hospitality that we recived for the family and their friend.
Althought Guillem actually haven’t study in the Barcelona university because he returnes in Palma, we have already contact.

In this summer i didn’t go away, because when my parents went to Costa Rica I was working in the “campus of basketball” in Argentona. I really enjoy working there because the girls and boys are fantastic. But I did a lot of things this sumer, I went to the beach with the friends, I went to a lot of parties and disco’s, because i really enjoy go with the friends to de dico’s, I went to “Les Santes” and the “Festa Major D’Argentona”, and i started trainning the 1st day of August, and when I started to trainnig this was the end of my summer, because I trained 2 and 3 houers a day and every day, and one week me trained in the morning and in the afternoon, and when I finshed i didn’t have soul to do anything. And then we srtarted the school and this was terrible because, when the school starts that was the end of my bests summers.
This summer I did’nt go away, because my parents hate traveling, but I enjoy summers every year.
I went every day with my friends to the beach, or disco’s, big parties how Les Santes or Festa Major d’Argentona..but always with they. Then, I went to the gym a lot of time, to tonificate my body because I want that my body be strong and big.
Finally, this summer I found the girl of my dreams, and I love her so much. I enjoy every moment with her and she will never walk alone.

Jaume, I’m sorry so much but I think the first comment is a bit short, and I wrote it again.
This summer has been very short for me, because I passed half of it training basketball. In the beginning of the summer I did a basketball campus as a player. We trained 3 hours every afternoon during all the July. And then started my summer, but not for a lot of days, because my team started to train on 24 of August, on the morning and on the afternoon every day! It was exhausting!
Well and in my free days I met my friends, and some weekends I went with my family to Vilamajor, where my father family live and where we have a house.
Finally, on last two days of summer, I travelled with my family (my parents, uncles, cousins and grandfathers) to celebrate the 50’s years of my grandfathers marriage. We got a good final of summer!
I hope you had more free time than I had.
This summer I went to Santander. I went there there every year with my parents and my sister because my father is from ther and my father’s family live in Santander. I stayed there from two weeks because the remainder of the year I don’t see my family and when I’m there I enjoy a lot my holidays. When we are in Santander we don’t do a lot of things because we have seen it all: museums, bay, beaches, the surrounding villages, etc. I’ve never found the boy of my dreams there because Santander it’s like my second city but I’ve found the boy of my dreams here, in Argentona. I love go there because the city it’s very beautiful.

This summer has been outstanding for me although I haven’t travelled abroad.I asked my mum to fly to California in order to visit miss Briggs, my beloved friend, but she refused the idea because it was too expensive.Right after she left I couldn’t imagine my holidays without her but as days went by, I eventually overcame the situation and greeted the summer that was about to arise:
Almost every day I rode to the beach with Clara and Aina. It was exhausting but we wanted to exercise together. It was really fun, sincerely.
I also visited the friends I made during my trip to Saint Malo three years ago. We loved remembering old times in France without our parents!!
In addition to that, I stayed for about two weeks in my little cousin’s. Whenever I’m with him I feel as if I’m in my element!
As you can see, despite having spent the summer at “home” it hasn’t been that boring.
However, what I appreciate the most of these holidays is having met my boyfriend. After splitting up with the Romanian boyfriend I used to have, I thought that I’d never love someone else as much as I had loved him, but I’ve realised that I was completely wrong. I’ve fallen in love again and my life has changed for the better!!
Before becoming my partner, we were friends, but I had always had a crush on him, and we know: when two agree on their desire, love will set them on fire!
So, concluding, I can say that I’ve been to lots of wonderful places this summer: Begur, Santa Fe, Calella…Nevertheless, I’ve always thought that it doesn’t mind where but with whom! And I can assure that the company I had was great!
This summer I went to Calella de Palafrugell whit 5 friends during 1 week. I did some other things in the summer but this been the best. In Calella our parents weren’t whit us. We were in the little apartment. We could do old that we wanted. During the days we went to the beach or private summing pool. We went to lunch wit out in a restaurant some days. The best moment in the day was the night when we went to the beach with some now friends that we had met. We stayed in here a lot of hours and some days saw the rising sun.
In the summer I did some other things to. I went to the towns parties to Mataró, Argentona and Granoller.
I went to Turkey during two weeks with my parents and my little brother. I love this country.
In conclusion I thing that this summer was very fanny!
This summer I’ve been working as a monitor of Campus CBA during 3 weeks, I went to the Campus in the mornings and the afternoons, It’s really tiring but children are very funny and while you are teaching basketball skills to they, you really enjoy it and have a great time with them. When I finished the basketball Campus I got paid and I saved that money for the future. I Usually met with my friends to go to the village parties for example, we went to La Garrinada and Les Santes. On Saturdays we went to the discos and Sundays normally I relax at home, when there were no village parties, we met for play basketball, play games or go out for a walk. This summer I rarely stayed at home, I only stayed at home when I had no plans or when I must do my “Treball de recerca”. I thought I have found the girl of my dreams but when we know each other well, I saw that she wasn’t the girl of my dreams, nowadays we are friends and sometimes we talk using messenger. So that’s what I’ve did on my Summer Holidays, I’ve stayed at home with my family, I went out with my friends and I had a great time!
This summer I went to malta with my parents and my brother because is
a beautiful place. I stayed there from one week, I enjoy a lot my holidays
in malta’s beaches. When I stayed in Malta I visited a lot of things
museums, beaches, etc…) I have never found the girl of my dreams in
this moment. It could be in the future 🙂

Thank you for your comments on your holidays in Mallorca. In fact, Mallorca is well-known for being a summer destination for European people who only look for beaches, discos, fast food and beers. However, I think it is a wonderful island when you go inland and see the different landscapes as you did. Congratulations!.

I agree with you that Santander is a very beautiful city. However, I was really surprised to see Franco on a horse in the centre of the city. Is Franco still there? The beaches are so beautiful and the Magdalena is magical. Are the seals still there?

I think you enjoyed your holidays despite the fact that you were very busy. I had some stressful holidays: hospitals, operation , a long wait but finally everything was all right and I can tell you that I see things in a different way.

Every time I visit Andorra I try to avoid the centre of the city because of shops and people. However, the surroundings are completly different . Going to the mountains is one of the most amazing experiences that people can experience. When I’m there I think of the ad that says “Andorra, the getting away!”
Well, this summer I went to Norway with my mum and her husband, we have been there for 10 days. All was amazing, waterfalls, mountains, the Pulpito, and a lot of ferries which you go with your car and let you on the other side of the river or Fiords.
After that, my mum when directly to Barcelona, but I caught another fly that was 3 or 4 ours after the first one, I want to go there another time, but all is to expensive there…. I flew alone, with my music, to Germany; it was amazing sawing all the mountains on my feet, and cross the ocean. When I arrive to Germany I where traveling for about 11 ours to my destination: Holland. There, my friends were waiting for me. I where on a young people house near a dessert, we make parties all days during week, people around Europe where and there I meet Katerina, with I where the last 4 days, you know. After that I comeback to my house to Bcn with other people from Spain, for 3 days, cleaning my clothes and wishing the bag and other necessary things for one week more. These week I went with my father, and her girlfriend and her soon, to Menorca, one relax week every day on the beaches, every night I went to the beach another time to saw the stars, and I chose one, which now is my own star.
Come back and the star school, I think that this last summer was very exciting and grateful. The next summer will be one moth with the InterRail, visiting all my European friends, with my best friend!!!

Summer’s not just a period of time. Summer is not a station of the year.
Summer is a place.
Is a place where we all go when we feel lonely, bored, depressed, or just a place where we all sweep. The only thing that makes the difference is the time we spend going to it.
This year I learned many things, and that’s just one of them. I’ve spent so much time thinking. I’ve been in a camping, the most of the time in a bungalow – this rustic apartment that makes some caravans’ dwellers feel a little envious, even though the price is not so different. As long as I can remember, I just read, ran, played the guitar and stared at the roof, thinking. Talking to myself and knowing me better, listening to that song in my head saying “Time will disappear” and realizing it is the biggest truth ever on holidays.
I didn’t find the girl of my dreams, but I actually believe I found a dreamed girl. She had brown curled hair falling upon a floating red dress. I saw her twice, maybe three times – a lot more in my dreams. And every time I thought that was not the kind of dress you would dress in the mountain. Sometimes I almost thought she wasn’t the kind of girl you’d see in the mountain, or even in real world. I never talked to her – just smiled to her as she passed by. But I caught her on my head.
We – my parents, my sister and I – went back home after a week there, feeling those were ones of the best holidays ever. I was feeling more self-confident, comfortable, self-knowing… and also sister-knowing, if there’s a word for that. I started to believe it’s not necessary to spend a lot of money to have a great summer. You just can’t buy summer. You have to live summer. And the only thing you need to do it is desire.
Sometimes I dream of her, somewhere between 11.45 pm and 3 am. I see her standing by a strange, silvered ray of moonlight with her curled brown hair falling upon her floating red dress; and I always smile as I pass by. I think someday I’ll stop her and ask her If she wants to come with me to a place.

At the begining of my holidays, I went to a christian summer camp in Extremadura during all July’s month where I met more new friends. When the summer camp was over, it began the Argentona’s parties and I could enjoy it a lot during two weeks.
On August, I went to the beach with my friends three times a week. Altought I enjoyed so much, I sometimes was bored because I had a lot of free time and I didn’t know what to do not to be bored. Then, on September had started so quickly.
In the first week, I went to a friend’s house with my sister and we enjoyed so much with her and her family. We could swim in her swimming pool and we watched a comedy in her bog television eating lots of sweets and chocolates. It was be so cool.
The last week of my holidays, I started to work in skating’s club like I did the last year. It was hard to go back to the routine. A few days later, school began again and it put an end to my holidays.

My last summer has been a little boring.
I didn’t do nothing in specially except worked, worked and worked.
I had been working in McDonalds for two months ( june and july).
The second week of august I went to camping in Malgrat de Mar and it is very nice and cheaper! I went with my boyfriend, Marc, and two friends more, Nerea and Aida. We were next to the beach and when we opened the tent you saw the sea and this is the best wake up that everyone can have.
When was by night we began to did the dinner and after beggin to drank and played games in the beach or played games where we could drink, etc.
We stayed there for 1 week more or less and it was very excited!
The next week of return of camping I stayed in the boyfriend-house abecause he was alone, and I thinked that he needed company! jajaja
The final week of august I stay alone in my house and I live whit my boyfriend for 1 week. The experience has been very nice and I wish repeat it other time.
In september I stayed in my town and to take the advantge of the last weeks of holidays.
This summer I didn’t go on holidays because if I go with my parents it’s very boring. I really enjoy the summer going out with my friends, going to play football at the afternoons and go to the disco at night. In July i went to do a summer course of english at ” escola oficial d’idiomes” it was good because I met new people but it was a shit woke up at 8:45am every day.
The last days of holidays I stayed with friends at the parties.

this summer I went to Germany whith my parents and a friendly family of my parents during two weeks and visit the south of the country.
Visit to museums, stadiums, towns, cities…
Also go to the platja d’aro with my friends in the camping, during five days and go the the beach and go to party.The girl of my dreamsI have not found yet, I am still young for found the girl of my dreams.
When I finished my course, I went to Cádiz to be with my family and my friends from there.
I stayed in Cádiz for two months and I enjoyed a lot in my city, with my people.
In the nornings, I studied English with an English teacher and I did a lot many exercises to improve my English and to pass the exam after the holidays.
I also worked in my research project and had economy classes.
One of the best memories I have from Cádiz was when I went with my friends to the summer concert.
It was really cool.
Then, I came back to Argentona and the routine started again.
Altough I felt very sad when I left Cádiz, I think it was a fantastic summer!

The hollydays of this year wehre a good one. I go to Menorca, I’ve never been here since 2002, and it look like always!. Is great to see that all the world change, pollution, the forest where die… furthenmore Menorca remain equal.
We go to this beautifull place for the beach and the water, and because it’s not expensive at all. We go with my family: me, my fathers, and my sister. And with some friends of my fathers.
One of the family wich came with us, brougth a small ship (zodiac) and we spend a lot of time on the ship, it was great!. We stay at Menorca for 2 weeks and the place where we stay where good. the place were at 3 minutes of a little beach wich people don’t know and it looks for us like a private piece of sea.
In a conclusion, i enjoy that 2 weeks in menorca, nevertheless, I was borred sometimes.
This summer i went to a trip for Europe, Ljubljana, Bratislava Sopron, Krakow, Praga, switzerland, deustchland and France with my family during one moth more or less.
I went to this place to visited diferents places, monuments and diferent people and well, we went to a spa and a camping one day. i like me learn words in others languages, but we were only four or five days in the same place and i couldn’t know a lot of peolpe, but well, i talk with a people of Stockholm, i have been in Stockholm in January and people of Faistenau (Austria)

No, I haven’t. Only this summer camp was in Extremadura. Next year I’ll go to Cadiz with the summer camp.I stayed for 3 weeks in Extremadura. Now, I’m teaching to skate for children, I don’t skate for the moment, I only teach.
