2º ESO English project 1 (2011-12)
All over the word, teenagers like the same things: hanging out with friends, chatting on the Internet, sport, … However, there are some differences in their daily routines.
In this project, you are going to find some information about teenagers from different countries, and you will compare them to Spanish teenagers.
? tasks
- Make groups of two or three.
- Decide which country you are going to talk about.
- Find the information you need.
- Organise the information you have got.
- Make a poster, a video, or a PowerPoint presentation.

some facts about the country you are going to talk about (population, language spoken, flag, languages, capital city,etc.). |

what teenagers do on weekdays (mornings and after school).

what teenagers do at weekends. |
| – | a brief comparison to Spanish teenagers. |
- Write a script and hand it to your teacher.
- Present your project to the class (presentation tips).

You can get the information you need in the following websites. All of them are in English. You can get the information in Spanish websites too, but then you will have to translate it into English!

At the end of the project, you will be evaluated by your teacher and your classmates. We’ll use these evaluation forms:
Schedule
-SESSION 1:
– teacher’s presentation of the project
– group formation
– surf the webs and decide the country.
– organise the information.
-SESSION 2: – writing the script and hand in to the teacher.
– SESSION 3/4: – oral presentation and peer evaluation.
