The hot air balloon of information

This week we have learned that there is oxygen inside the water, and that in the air there is water vapour. 

Aquesta setmana hem après que a dins de l’aigua hi ha oxígen, i que a l’aire hi ha vapor d’aigua. 

 

We found out that hot air balloons go up when the air is hot and they go down when the air is cold (and they turn off the engine, of course!)

Hem averiguat que el globus d’aire puja quan l’aire és calent i baixa quan apaguen els motors i l’aire és fred. 

 

We did some practical research to find out that to make a parachute go slowly we need a little plastic bag, a long piece of string and a little plasticine ball (it weights less).

Hem fet alguns experiments per comprovar que si fem el nostre paracaigudes amb una bossa de plàstic petita, un tros de cordill llarg i una bola de plastilina petita, aquest caurà a poc a poc, planejant (el pes és menor).

What we found out about AIR

 

1. The AIR is strong. The AIR can close a door. It can throw things away.

    L’aire té força i pot tancar les portes. Pot llençar coses lluny.

2. The AIR is invisible and transparent/clear.

    L’aire és invisible i transparent.

3. We can feel the AIR.

    Podem notar l’aire.

4. We can capture air.

    Podem agafar l’aire.

5. We use AIR to breath.

    Utilitzem l’aire per respirar.

6. We can transport AIR. 

    Podem transportar aire.
