The Project:
The mountains, valleys, cliffs and beaches that we see in some parts of the planet have not always looked as they do now. They will also look different in a thousand or a million years time.
The external processes model land relief and they have been in constant activity ever since the beginning of time.
Objective:
This project will investigate the geologic agents which have been responsible for transforming the landscape of our province as we see today and we use the EDULOC to present the results of our work. EDULOC is a computer program that can locate sites and upload images and texts.
How did we do?
The teacher’s proposed will be worked in pairs in phase1 and in groups of four in phase 2. The project will prepare in the classroom and used as a work tool their computers and Wi-Fi.
Phase 1- In the Classroom
On the board the teacher writes a list of the names of different landscapes and then writes the name of the students who, in pairs, will take responsibility for each landscape.
- Torrential landscapes
- Fluvial landscapes
- Karst landscapes
- Coastal landscapes
- Aeolian landscapes
- Glacial landscapes
As there will be more groups than types of landscape. Two groups will do the same landscape. And these groups will form the group of four in phase 3.
Then the teacher reads the language box to classroom to solve the problems are likely to with vocabulary in the future
