projectsHELLO THERE! PRIMARY SIX KIDS HAVE BEEN WORKING ON A PROJECT USING ICTs. THE TOPIC WAS AN ENGLISH FESTIVAL: BONFIRE NIGHT!

AIMS:

a- Find out information on the net.

b- Practise main tools for saving, selecting, copying, pasting, searching on the computer.

c- Use English as much as possible.

d- Working in orther to achieve a cooperative learning through pairwork.

e- Be aware of other traditions and festivals, respect them and learn about them.

TOPIC: A FESTIVAL.- BONFIRE NIGHT.

TIMING: ONCE A WEEK FOR TWO MONTHS.

PLACE: SCHOOL’S COMPUTER ROOM.

MATERIAL: COMPUTERS, STATIONARY NEEDED FOR THE WALL CHARTS.

STEPS:

1- Find out information folowing a project guide line worksheet.

2- Searching images to illustrate the information.

3- Pake a poster/wallchart with images and information googled.

4- Speech practice following another speech guiding worksheet.

5- 2-minutes speech in front of the class. Kids will be recorded and the images will be uploded as soon as possible.

YOU ALL KIDS DID A GOOD JOB! WORK HARD ON YOUR PRESENTATION FOR NEXT DECEMBER 9th, OK?
