Hi, students!!The English Day is near…as you know we are going to do it on the Day for Peace. You are going to learn a lot of things about Nobel Prizes for Peace and the Eight Millenium Goals. Have you heard anything about them?
Let’s do some project work in small group work to know more about them!
First you must watch the video at the bottom of this page, then you must answer the following questions and do the activities proposed:
1. Which are the Eight Millenium Goals?
2. Translate them.
3. When did the Eight Millenium Goals start?
4. Which is the ending date to achieve them?
TASK: Choose ONE of the Eight Millenium Goals and find information about it. For example: which are the countries most affected by this problem? How many people in the world suffer from this problem? How many people die because of it?
Make a short composition with an Open Office or Power Point presentation adding some images to the text. You can also add your voice or a song. See the ones listed in the English Day’s blog.
