The first topic we are dealing with is

FOOD AND THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

**EVALUATION CRITERIA***

– Analyse if the studens know the major food groups and can recognise the main nutrients in each.

– Check that they can locate the organs of the digestive system in the body.

– Ensure that they are able to distinguish between mechanical and chemical digestion.

– Verify that they can describe the main digestive processes of the small and the large intestine.
