In class of Projects, we are working about the timeline.
It’s divided into two parts: the prehistory and the history.
The prehistory is divided into three ages: the palaeolithic (3.000.000 BC till 10.000 BC), the neolithic, (10.000 BC till 5.000 BC), and the metal age (5.000 BC till 3,000 BC); and the history is divided into four ages: old (or ancient) age (3.000 BC till 476 AD), middle age (476 AD till 1492 AD), modern age (1492 AD till 1789 AD), and contemporary age (1789 AD till nowadays)
Knowing the past, we understand the present and anticipate the future. It also allows us to see small changes of humanity.
