Hi, I’m Carlota and now I will explain what the natural gas is.
Natural gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel. This means it contributes little environmental pollutants when burned.
It was formed millions of years ago, when tiny sea creatures died and sank to the bottom of the oceans. It is mainly methane and is piped into homes and an office building, for that reason, is very important to us!!
Natural gas is a hydrocarbon, which means it is made up of compounds of hydrogen and carbon.
Natural gas can be measured in a variety of ways, although the most common unit of measurement is the GIGAJOULE (GJ) which signifies one billion joules, the metric measure for heat and energy.
