In this part of the project, we study the human development. Humans have gone through many stages. The first hominid in the Earth was the Australopitecus, the second one was the Homo Habilis, the third, the Homo Erectus, the fourth is called Homo Antecessor, the fifth is Homo Neanderthalensis and the sixth is Homo Sapiens.

The hominids of Paleolithic were Australopitecus and Homo Habilis. The Neolithic hominids were Homo Erectus and Homo Antecessor and the Metal Ages hominids were Homo Neanderthalensis and Homo Sapiens. Homo Sapiens are the humans of nowadays.

To do this activity we had to look up for a lot information throught the Internet. We used the information of the dossier and wrote it under each picture of the hominids. The activity was a little bit tricky.

As you can see, this project is in English! We study history and we are learning many interesting things. Now we are studying the Prehistory.

We have two periods of time: Paleolithic and Neolithic.

In Paleolithic, there were Nomads they didn’t stay in a permament site they always changed of house, they didn’t have many possessions and the possibilities to survive were few.

They always went to the caves to live, the caves were open and weren’t safe. They always needed to move to hunt but they didn’t have any animals.

On the contrary in the Neolithic, they were sedentary, they lived in villages, they learned now to take care of animals and didn’t need go to hunt but had animals in villages and crops, they could have a lot oh things, they were safer in houses than in caves.

We think about it and we believe that the two styles of live were good but we prefer to be sedentary to survive!
