Hi all!
In P5, during the month of May we have been working on the food. To learn and revise the vocabulary about this topic we use a book: “The very hungry caterpillar” written by Eric Carle. This story meant a fantastic opportunity to learn about the days of the week, the numbers and, specially, food. Each child had to learn some expressions that they said in the video. They really enjoy this activity, it was fantastic the chance to introduce drama playing in Pre-Primary Education.
Congratulations to the dragons and the unicorns; I am so glad of the result and how excited you were during the preparation time.

Hi dear families!
Even though, Easter was some days ago, we want to show you a very nice and funny activity that was done in P5. After watching a video and introducing this popular English tradition, P5 students did their own “Egg hunt” in the school; some of them in the playground and others in the psychomotor activity class (it was a rainy day). Students, divided in four teams, had to look for the hidden eggs. When they found all the eggs, we came back to the class and we counted how many eggs each team got. It was a really nice experience!

Hi families,
After Christmas, P3 students started to learn new vocabulary about the body, and especially, we focused on the parts of the face. To discover these new words, as always, we learned new songs about the parts of the body and we did several games and manipulative activities to practise the new vocabulary. For example, Mr Potato helped us to practise this new vocabulary meanwhile we had fun with him. We were really excited!

Furthermore, we did an activity about oral comprehension to check if we understand what the teacher said. In addition, we revised the colours! The result was excellent!

Hi all!
What’s better than learning vocabulary about toys after Christmas holidays? For this reason, in P4 we started the second term with TOYS. We played different games and did manipulative activities to learn new words such as: ball, doll, game, robot, car, scooter, teddy bear, blocks, bike, slide, swing…
Moreover, to conclude this month, we did a very nice mural to revise the learnt vocabulary and to introduce the concepts of big and small. Each student had to take a photo from the bag and say the toy that appeared on the image and if it was big or small. Finally, each student pasted both photos on the mural. It was a very nice activity to revise, learn and develop oral expression. Have a look at the process!
