Comencen els partits de la lliga de pati!!

Bon dia Pau Casals!

Hello Everybody!

My name is Amelia, the new auxiliar from England, near Manchester in a city called Blackpool. I am currently studying at Leeds Met University, I am 20 years old and I am enjoying my time at Pau Casals so far! A typical day at school involves me helping the children practice their English by chatting to them about things that they like and I tell them a bit about myself.

I like shopping, especially in Barcelona! I like Zara and Mango… I especially like fashion and I think the girls like my clothes! I like studying and reading aswell as drawing and having fun!

I am sure I will get to know everybody a bit more over the year!

Welcome again!!

Welcome students!

Have you studied English during the summer? Have you practised exercise?

Don’t worry! We can practise exercise and learn English at the same time! How can we do that? It’s very easy. If you remember, last year we learnt English at Physical Education! Did you enjoy? Did you learn some vocabulary and expressions?

So, Let’s do it again! But remember that you have to bring your toilet kit with the towel, soap and the T- shirt. You have to wear a tracksuit and trainers, too.

We hope you enjoy the classes, learn a lot of vocabulary and expressions in English.

And this year  we could enjoy doing exercise and speaking English in physical education with a native speaker.

See you soon!

Pirate island!

On Thursday 25th October, The blue mango company represented a play for our students. The play was called “Pirate island”.

The students enjoyed a lot and some of them participated with the actors. For those that couldn’t attended to the show we explain you the plot:

“BB, the infamous Pirate captain, has been shipwrecked on a desert island for 20 years. One day two strangers appear and her peace is destroyed for ever. They speak differently, eat differently and very soon they are all having a real problem getting on. But when their island is threatened, will they be able to overcome their differences and work together?
With comedy, music and dance, we encourage students to think about cultural diversity and get involved in the action”

Both the teachers and the studens found the experience amazing.

In a few days we will show you the photos.

Thanks!
